TPS55288: Is I2C input required while using TPS55288

Hi,

I want to design simple solar battery charger without microcontroller.

Is TPS55288 is suitable for such application. (Non-isolated, 8V to 24V input; 13.5V output @ 3A current)

It has I2C communication, I don't need it. Can I leave those pins floating.

Or can you please suggest any other PWM IC for such application?
