Can you please help us with our customer's inquiry below?
From the analysis of the documentation of the BQ76942 and BQ76952 chips, it looks to me that these chips may be used alternatively, if we design the layout with a special care.
We are working on 7s Li-Ion battery.
Could you please confirm, that if we design the layout as in the attached connections.jpg file, then we should only modify the configuration file for each chip in the matter of V_cell config and other registers related to the cell's configuration and all the other registers will be exactly the same?
With the proposed connection the following cell input will be used:
BQ76942: 1,2,3,4,5,6,10
BQ76952: 1,2,3,4,6,8,16
