In BQ76952, the default thermistor for 18K is SEMITEC -103 AT. But when comparing thermistor polynomial coefficient of default value (in data sheet) differ with GPC tool generated value.

Why there is such changes?

Hi Saranya,

We improved our polynomial coefficient calculator tool after the device was released to market, so it is a little better to use the tool's values instead of the default values.

Hi Matt,

I am using BQ76952. While converting K to Cel, with a new polynomial expression, Values are in 300 ranges.. Could you please help me to resolve it.

Hi Saranya,

That is strange. Did you use this tool to calculate the coefficients: https://www.ti.com/tool/BQ769X2-THERMISTOR-COEFF-CALCULATOR Are you sure you entered the coefficient values into the registers correctly? Can you share the report from the tool and your .gg.csv file that shows your register settings from BQStudio?

Otherwise, you can use the default values which should be reasonable.
