BQ25730: Solution for Power path management on USB and AA battery ×2

I looking for the solution about USB (5V) and AA battery ×2 (2~3V) with Power path management.

(When system load higher than I_BAT or I_USB, the other side provide current fill in the gap)

Can bq25730 or the other bq257xx series make above solution?

・If yes, are there any reference design or application note?

・If no, is there any matched IC?

※AA battery chemistry are both case of NiMH, Alkaline, and Lithium.

Hi, Satoshi,

Most of our chargers with power path can do this job,e.g. BQ25620. You may find more battery chargers here.

I think that bq25620's VBAT is 3.5V and not match the 2V~3V spec on AA battery ×2.

Are bq25730 or the other bq257xx series correct choice?

Is there any reference design or application note?

BQ25730 is a buck-boost charge controller, which supports up to 16A charge current. For your power level, how about BQ25171?
