Hello All,
I tried to simulate the LM5163-based PSU, but the tool show some fails and I've absolutelu no idea what does it mean.
Here is the project: https://disk.yandex.ru/d/NqyLxbZx7UD5Ww
If somebody can help me, I'll thankful.
Kind regards!

Hello, please upload directly the files or error directly to the website. This domain appears a little suspicious to me.
Additionally, were you able to get the default schematic to run in SPICE? In the steady state schematic for example, there should be a screenshot of the waveforms to be expected.
Hello,
I would attach a file here, but I don't understand how to do it.
What do you mean with the "default schematic"?
Hello Andrej,
When downloading the transient model, there should be two schematics present: startup and steady state.
What I am suggesting is if you can run a schematic as-is, so we can back track and see if something you changed (and what) caused the convergence issue. An initial condition may need to be changed to jump start the simulation.
Sorry, but I understood nothing
I downloaded nothing. I created the schematic using the embedded LM5163 model, created the simulation profile and tried to run it.
Hello Andrej,
It is ok.
Here is the link to the proven-out design I suggested you see if it works.
If it does, I would then suggest you building off it for your specific simulation requirements.
Yes, it works, thank you!
The question still open is why I can't directly use the embedded library, but maybe it's a problem of OrCAD, which is developed "to confuse a potential adversary"
BTW, I've managed to attach my oroginal project. If you're willing, you can look on it.
Hello Andrej,
It could be a number of things, that is why I often advise this technique.
Good to hear you got it going.
