Dear expert,
Customer is using TPS25830A for a type-A USB charging.
Can they simply configure CTRL1 , CTRL2 to 1, 1 and then TPS25830A can drive 2.1A to mobile?
Thanks

Ziv,
From the description, it seems 3A is only supported by type-C for CTRL1,2 set to 1,1? For type-A, it is only 1.5A for CTRL1,2 set to 1,1?
But it also mentioned "Current Limit Setting using RILIMIT". Can I set current limit as 3A with Rilimit to enalbe 3A for type A?
Thanks
Ziv,
BTW, customer wants to support 2.1A charging current while USB type A data communication is still normal.
So they can only choose SDP mode but not CDP mode?
Anyway , need you suggest the best way for them to support USB type A 2.1A charging capacity with data communication ongoing.
Thanks
