There are Isc and Ift for overcurrent detection during steady-state, how do you use them?
Why are there two kinds?

Also for example consider the case in which someone selects RILIM resistor out of recommended range which will set ILIM and 2*ILIM out of range. In that case fixed threshold acts as a second layer of protection.
