UC1846-SP: TINA SPICE Model

Has anyone simulated this part in TINA? I used it and seems like the switching frequency is off in the model. To get a switching frequency of 100kHz, I had to use RT = 10k, CT = 1nF. According to equation five, this should get f = 220kHz. Is the model incorrect?

Hey Sydney,

The offset you are seeing is the difference between the clock switching frequency and the output switching frequency.
The equation is for the clock switching frequency which is 2x the output switching frequency.

I see now. Is this something that's implied? I couldn't find anything on the datasheet saying that the clock frequency is 2x the output switching frequency.

It could certainly be made more obvious in the datasheet.
This is a consistent definition in old controller datasheets.
