TPS25750: USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 Not Sourcing Max Power to USB Device

Hello, 

I am having charging issues with my system. I have a tablet connected to USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 to source power into tablet.

I have these configurations with the GUI Software tool (version 7.04) 

 

When I program the USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 with the configurations from the screenshot above, I can only source 700mA. 

When I connect my USB wall charger directly to the tablet, the tablet consumes 1.7A at 5V.

I am using the same tablet for both tests. I am not sure why the TPS negotiates less power than if i connect directly to the wall charger. 

I would like to source as much current to the tablet as possible for fast charging. 

Please advise.
