The customer test with BQ76952, they use resisters to simulate the 16 cells. Test the COV protection.
The 16 channel battery simulator changes the cell voltage from 1 to 16 in order to trigger the COV function.
The sequence is as follows: let the first cell trigger the COV, let the first cell recover after receive the recovery condition
Then trigger the second cell COV protection, and let the second cell recover after receive the recovery condition ...etc
It is found that there are errors in several random channel delays (the protection delay is set to 2s, the measured protection delay will be larger, and the maximum protection delay is found to be 3 seconds in the current test). There is no problem if only test one channel.
