TPS566238: Review

Part Number: TPS566238

Dear All,

we decided to design in TPS566238PRQF for 0.8V ,1.1V and 1.8V rail.

1)

Pleas can you check our attached schematic reading selected inductor and input/output capacitors?

2)

Can you tell for 0.8V version, if we have at the load ( CPU) additional 2x 47uF_6.3V_X5R_0805 caps for decupling + 1x bulk polymer tantalum 150uF ( 6TPS150MUD) .

Do you see any problem with configuration, regarding max output capacitance?

Best Regards,

D.

  • Hello Zero,

Our datasheet Table 8-2 gives the recommended LC values.

Using lower inductance could get better transient performance, you may use 1uH for 0.8V & 1.1V rails instead of 1.5uH.

The table also lists the maximum Cout recommendation, please take a look.
