Hello,

My customer has a couple of questions about TPS25772-Q1 as follows.

Q1:
On the datasheet page 30, what does the “load shedding” do specifically?
Could you elaborate?

Q2:
ROM and SRAM function as the storage

and operational space for application firmware. OTP contains boot configuration settings.
Then, under what circumstances what is an external EEPROM used for? Could you elaborate?

Hi Hirano-san,

1, The 'load shedding' is mean that we will monitor the temperature, when the temperature is too high, we will reduce our output power, you can configurate it through the GUI.

2, The eeprom is used to storage the 'PATCH', which is the fixed debug and setup software, then you can update the firmware when you have produced your board.

Regarding the "Load Shedding", when the temperature is too high, the output power is reduced at both port identically? Or customer can program using GUI to reduce port 1 power and port 2 power independently?
