How can BQ79616EVM-021 connect to TMS570LC43x LaunchPad and what is the difference between BQ79616EVM-021 and BQ76PL455EVM?

Hello TI Support,

1. I would like to know how to connect BQ79616EVM-021 with TMS570LC43x LaunchPad. Do I just need to connect UART for them? Or, do I still need any adapter board?

2. What is the difference between BQ79616EVM-021 and BQ76PL455EVM?

3. I want to know what is the default compiler for TMS570LC43x LaunchPad by TI.

    Bq79616 and bq76pl455a are two completely different TI 16 channel battery monitor devices (please search the product folders to read the datasheets before attempting to use either one).

    The sample code for bq76pl455a is located on the product folder page and for bq79616 you can request access to more info including example code instructions here: https://www.ti.com/product/BQ79616-Q1 Both use Code Composer Studio and TMS570 for example code.
