Hi,
due to the market shortage on the LM2676-ADJ, I'm thinking of using the 5.0Vout version on my products by altering the feedback network. If the internal diagram on p. 7 of the datasheet is realistic, the only difference between the ADJ version and the fixed output versions seems to be the feedback divider integrated in the fixed output versions. I then inserted a 18.7kohm resistor between the feedback pin of the LM2676-5.0 and Vout and I got Vout=13.7V, which is the voltage I need.... I've run no load and full load tests and checked the output waveform, and can't find anything unusual. is this an acceptable solution or could there be hidden problems that I can't point out?
