Hello expert,
My customer would like to know if SWEN is okay to asserted before EN/UVLO. Based on block diagram, UV signal will dominate SWEN pin to pull it low. It should be okay without any issue, right? Thanks a lot!
Best regards,
Ann Lien

Hi Ann,
SWEN is not an externally controllable pin. The device decides its state internally.
But it is I/O pin and based on datasheet figure 8-12, we need to use CMPOUT to connect to SWEN to do the handshaking function. Is datasheet error there?
Hi Ann,
Please share the exact customer use case block diagram and schematic. Based on these we will get back to you.
Hello Avishek,
Customer just want to know if SWEN can be asserted before EN/UVLO. Could you please help to answer this question? Thanks!

Hi Ann,
I am not able to understand why and how SWEN will be asserted before EN/UVLO. Without knowing those information, I can't comment. I suggest to order a TPS25985EVM and test the customer use case on the EVM.
Just need a simple question, would SWEN operate with internal block diagram for disable/enable SW. If yes, then could we place SWEN faster than EN_UVLO. please answer it.
Sorry... I am not able to understand your query. Please explain in more detail. I am not understanding why you are not sharing the schematic or block diagram.
