TPS92691: IADJ PART SIMULATION

Hello, 

As per our application, we are developing a dimmable led unit from TPS92691, with analog dimming functionality in mind 

As I understand IADJ pin will control the DDRV pin for brightness control, 

but I did not find any graph or analysis of IADJ VS DDRV pins. 

Can you please clarify the change of 140mV to 2.2V on the IADJ pin what change will happen on the DDRV pin, it will be any frequency variation or duty cycle variation

if any frequency variation pl provide that range if possible...

  • Hello Umang,

    IADJ controls the Analog or DC current level output to the LED.  It does not drive DDRV pin.  Please see section 8.1.7 of the data sheet below. 

    The DDRV pin is controlled by the PWM input which does drive the external FET for PWM Dimming to pulse width modulate the output LED current.  Please see section 7.3.8 in the data sheet copied below.
