Hello Lawrence,

Overall the schematic looks OK. Please note the resistors on SRP/SRN are recommended to be 10 Ohm but you have 2 Ohm.

This device is pretty old. Have you considered a newer one like BQ24770?

Please note: The device is not notebook, it`s for VR Charging dock.

Hello Lawrence,

Is that the output load or the input voltage? Note that this is a Buck only charger, so input voltage must be higher than output voltage.

Hello Lawrence,

With 20V Adapter, the 20V/1.5A should be OK as it is a direct path.
