BQ25886: Charging is not started

Hi,

Our customer has evaluated bq25886 with their test board now, then they are facing the problem as below. Please let me know if you need more information.

[Problem]

  • The charging is not started with 5.0V input for 8.0V battery
  • The charging is started with 4.3V and 6.0V input for 8.0V battery
  • At 5.0V input, the charging is started when the bq25886 and external components are heated by heat gun (Under high temperature environment)

[Request]

  • Can you check following waveform and give any comments to correct this problem?
  • I can share the shematic and PCB layout of their test board via private message or email, so can you contact me directly?
