TL594: Possibility of VREF pin damaged

Dear Specialists,

My customer is encountering problem of VREF of TL594 pin damaged.

According to the datasheet, Output Current of VREF pin is 10mA min.

If the output current is 10mA, is there possibility VREF pin damaged.

According to note (3), more than 1 second are not allowed.

Does it apply even 10mA?

Hello,

VREF is capable to source 10mA. This current is applied during regulation test.

1s can't be exceeded during short circuit test.
