BQ25172: The difference between Standby input current (IN) with charge terminated and Quiescent input current (IN)

Hi team,

My customer asked  doesn't Vout pin sink any current except  Quiescent output current?

In case Vin = 5V and charge terminated, Vin sink Quiescent input current  and Standby input current (IN) with charge terminated.

I guess  Quiescent input current is a leak current, however Standby input current (IN) with charge terminated is a current for internal circuit.

In case Vin = 0V  that means shutdown mode, an Internal circuit doesn't need any current.

So the datasheet only defines Quiescent output current.

Am I understanding correct?

    "In case Vin = 5V and charge terminated, Vin sink  Quiescent input current  and Standby input current (IN) with charge terminated." -- Bill J -- Yes, internal circuit active, typical 230uA
