TLC59283: EMI case at output current

Part Number: TLC59283

Hi,

My customer is using TLC59283 as LED driver. However, they are facing an EMI problem so I reach out to you for some help.

Noise is detected in 23Mhz and 46Mhz when the LED is on, however when the LED is turned off the noise disappears.

So are there any guidance or solutions to reduce the output noise to meet the EMI requirements?

Manu

  • Hi Manu,

I need first to find the source of the EMI.

    1. What is the data transfer rate? How does your customer control the LED, simply on/off or PWM? If PWM is the case, what is the frequency of the PWM?
    2. Could you share the schematics, the PCB layout files and the EMI test report to me via email?

    Best Regards,

    Steven

  • Hi Manu,

As per talk, let's continue the conversation via email. I will close this thread.
