Hi Experts,

datasheet define max charge current is 8.128A with 10mΩ sense resistor, but customer want to use 5mΩ sense resistor to achieve 14A charge current, is there any side effect especially on the safety aspect.

Hi, Anderson,

Note that the max charge current is also limited by thermal. Be caution when the customer pushes for more current. Sometimes, it is better off using a dual charger since it spreads out the heat.
