Hi team,
My customer found that the load transient response of TPS7A4101 is very slow.
After a while from the start-up, when the load step from 0 A to several tens of mA occurs, it took several ms to settle to the target output voltage (ΔV~100mV).
The input voltage was enough stable.
Please find the measurement conditions below.
VIN:37V
VOUT:35V
CIN:4.7uF×3pcs
R1:472.7kΩ
R2:16kΩ
CBYP:10nF
COUT:4.7uF×3pcs
The passive designators are same as the datasheet schematic.
Unfortunately, the customer can’t show the waveform.
My customer found that the changing CBYP from 10nF to 1nF significantly improved this slow transient response.
Could you please advise how to improve the transient response?
The target settling time (within <100mV) is <1us.
Best regards,
Itoh
