LMZ31707: INH/UVLO and device output

hello,

If I pull the INH/UVLO pin low, meaning disabling the device, while its input is active:

Is it safe to connect an external power supply in parallel to the LMZ output?

 

I want to substitute its output with an external supply to debug something.

    Hi Gil,

    If Vin is Active/High and the applied external voltage is not larger than Vin, then this should be fine.

    As both FETs are off, and the body diode of the high side FET will not conduct.
