UCC28950: Need schematics verification

Hi!

I hope you are doing well. I am designing a charger board (29V 23A) and I used UCC28950PWR for PWM generator to control phase shift full wave bridge rectifier. I want to request you to verify the attached schematics and I also want to know how to add current control circuit. I am not understanding that how I can set current limit in the design.

Hello,

It looks like your RT resistor is missing from your controller schematic. I would suggest adding that to your design.

Besides that you controller schematic looks like it is setup correct.

Thanks for your response. I have one more question that how can I control the current in this circuit? I want to limit the current to 23A.

Hello,

The current is generally controlled by the CS pin. I would recommend designing for peak current mode control to prevent transformer saturation.
