Part Number: BQ78350-R2-DEVICE-FW
Hi,
We have packs with LF105 cells, and a BQ78350 gauge. We wrongly set our Chemistry ID to 0447 instead of 4118. Then, we had some issues of SOC jumps from about 70% SOC to 7% SOC, wich we did not exactly know why they happened. We still can't reproduce the problem. We know different things:
1. Chemistry ID was wrongly set.
2. CEDV parameters are based on a different cell (quick check of pending EDV gives an expected value however)
3. EDV settings are completely off, we messed up that part. However, EDV_CMP bit is set, so these values are never used (Right?)
Our questions now are:
1. Does Chemistry ID do anything in normal operation? It seems like its only used for measuring the SOC upon the OCV table upon RESET.
2. There exists an Chemistry ID for the LF105 cell from EVE. Do you have the CEDV parameters(C0, R0, T0, etc.) for these cells?
Thanks in advance!
P.S. Firmware R3 is still not here, while you suggested it should be coming this month.
