BQ79656-Q1: Is BQ796xx fit for avionics.

Hello:
I am designing a battery management system in the region. Safety is a very critical issue for aviation forehead. DAL levels are used as safety standards in aviation. These levels are determined according to MIL-STD-461G and DO-311A. DAL-B line coincides with ASIL-D level aviation in the automotive sector. There is a suitable BMS monitor IC with a high security level, low error rate, high MTBF value.
 I'm considering the BQ796xx and BQ756xx series. What are the most suitable ICs? These ICs need to be used more standard in aviation because it is used to verify aviation history. Can you suggest me suitable ICs?

    HI Fikret,

    BQ796xx family device is automotive AECQ100 qualified, not target for aviation application, you could review the AECQ100 standard check if it can meet your avionics system requirement. 

    For other BQ796xx family device can support up to ASIL-D, is the highest level safety compliant part in TI's automotive BMS product family.
