BQ34Z100-R2: Upgrade details

To whom it may concern:

I just noticed a new IC BQ34Z100-R2 just released. Could you help to share more details of the differences between this IC to the BQ34Z100, and BQ34Z100-G1? I would assume this is an update version of BQ34Z100-G1.

Also is this IC just firmware update from G1? So if we have G1 IC, we can use them as R2 by programming the SREC file (similar to BQ40Z50-R4 to BQ40Z50-R2)?

    Hello Chen,

    Let me check if there is a dedicated change list available, I'm not sure if it is planned to have one since all the changes are in the TRM in Table 1-1. Features in the BQ34Z100-R2 Device.

    The BQ34Z100-R2 is a firmware upgrade and it is an orderable part as well, not only a firmware.
