In reference schematic of TIDA-010208, there is below circuit. Please help me to understand its use.

Hi Nitin,

In this reference design, the microcontroller has an ADC input which is being used to directly measure the battery stack voltage with a resistor divider. The BATS_EN pin of the microcontroller enables the resistor divider momentarily when the measurement is taken. This avoids current flowing through the resistor divider most of the time when no measurement is being made.

okk,

so MCU is measuring stack voltage and also getting from AFE via I2C. Is it just for redundancy or something more is to it ?

This is for redundancy. The stack voltage is also measured from the AFE.
