UCC28740-Q1: Unencrypted LTspice or Pspice model

Hi all,

Is there an Ltspice or pspice model available for UCC28740. On the product page I could find only a Simetrix/Simplis model which is not easily convertible to either Pspice or Ltspice.

If not, is any other controller's model available with nearly similar characteristics that could be used in its place for an equivalent functional simulation?

Hi Abhishek,

We currently do not have an unencrypted PSPICE model for UCC28740.

You can try UCC28730 where most of the internal blocks are similar to UCC28740 but it is a PSR controller.

Hi Harish,

Thanks for the reply. It seems I might be able to simulate some equivalent functionalities using UCC28730 as the internal parameters are more less similar and the control law is also same. But it will be difficult to understand the SSR optocoupled feedback path functionality.
