TPS60401: Capacitance of Co and Cfly

Hello Expert,

I have checked recommended value on the data sheet.

I have some inquires as below.

1. How much can I use max. capacity for Co?

    Our customer is going to use 100uF for Co.

    Is there no problem?

2. How much can I use max. capacity for C(fly)?

    Our customer is going to use 47uF for Co.

    Is there no problem?

    Hi Michael,

    TPS60401 is a very old device and we unfortunately do not have much test/characterization data available for this device. 

    By looking into the datasheet, these values looks way higher than the recommended values in the datasheet. I would recommend sticking to those datasheet values, otherwise intended performance of the device may not be obtained.
