- When a FG is power cycled after running for a while will it behave identically to a FG powered up for the first time? I'd like to characterize the charge behavior of a new FG, but the easiest way to perform this would be using devices I have on hand where the FG has already been in use for a while. I'm hoping I can reset the FG and use them for this characterization.
- I observed on a batch of devices that the SOC reported when the battery has reached full charge is in the range of 85-100% instead of always reaching 100%. How can this behavior be improved so the SOC reported reaches100% once fully charged? These devices have gone through 1 discharge/charge cycle, but were only discharged down to 10%. Will discharging the battery below 10% improve the behavior?
- Outside of the 4 config parameters recommended in the technical guide (battery capacity, design energy, terminal voltage, taper rate), are there any additional config parameters you would recommend programming to improve the FG accuracy?
