TLC59116: Brightness Control Frequency Hz or kHz

Hi,

The frequency of GSCLK is 25MHz, and each individual PWM period contains 256 GSCLK cycle, so PWM frequency is 97.6kHz.

With the Group control signal, you can choose how many PWM cycle you want to use in 1 group period (5.24ms), the finally output waveform is the 3rd one. You can see, the PWM frequency is always 97.6kHz but it is not always on, and the on-time is controlled by group brightness.

For your second questions, the 24Hz adjustable frequency is used to achieve blink function, which means you can get the auto blink effect by configure this function.

Thank you for the response, however, that does not answer my question about the inconsistency in the datasheet. In the datasheet, we reference 190Hz and 190kHz. Which one is the right one?

190Hz is for group control frequency, but the frequency of output signal is 97.6kHz, please see the diagram I attached.

Thank you for the reply. Additionally, if the 190Hz signal is turned "off" (0% duty cycle), this will shut off all the LEDs, correct?
