Buck-Boost SMPS

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5177, LM5176

Hi,

I need an SMPS design that complies with automotive standards. I couldn't find a suitable controller on the TI site. With the LM5175QPWPRQ1 IC, the design is shown over WEBENC, but it has four switching elements. I hope this will increase the cost of the product and cause EMI problems. I've listed the project requirements below;

- 18VDC-36VDC Input Voltage Range  (This can be more, like 1VDC-50VDC. Nominal values 18VDC-36VDC.)

- 24VDC Output Voltage

- 10A Output Current

- 240W Output Power

The SMPS topologies that can be used in this project are SEPIC and Buck-Boost.

Are there controls or integrated controls in TI that I can design at a low cost?

How can I do the design? Can I see reference designs?
