TPS23861: I2C issue

Hi,

We use the TPS23861 for the PSE, and now the automatic mode is fine, we consider to us the I2C to control the PSE function, but we can't read the I2C signal by the I2Cdetect, please kindly advise how to se the I2C, thanks.

Hi Zhang,

Quick question to clarify, are you looking to have control over PPM features (Port Power Management) or something else within the PSE?

The TPS23861 has several operating modes to allow more control: auto, semi-auto,, and manual. Depending on which operating mode you're looking for, you'll need to configure the PSE 'Port n Mode' to the desired operation (page 58 of the datasheet):
