Hi,

I was referring to SNVA994, How to Design an Isolated Flyback Converter Using LM5157x/LM5158x (ti.com) for multi rail flyback design.

Here are some issues with the document:

Issue 1:

Section 3.4: Diode reverse voltage calculation is wrong as the Np and Ns are taken different, eventually is matches with the document SNVA866 (How to design an isolated flyback using LM5155 (ti.com)). Additionally, Iload is not 5A and 4 diodes are required on the secondar side for this design. 

Issue 2:

Section 3.5: Crossover frequency is this section is calculated again with reference to SNVA866, which does not apply in this design. Resulting in wrong output capacitor selection, adding to that 4 such output capacitors are required in this design.

Doubt 1: In section 3.7, for Ruvlot calculation, how 0.967 and 5uA values have arrived?

Doubt 2: In section 3.8.1 crossover freq. at half load is calculated as 7.65kHz and in section 3.8.2 desired loop crossover frequency is taken as 5kHz. Any particular basis for the selection?

I am finding other design documents for the same design input but not getting any. Eventually i found PMP30700 which matches my design requirements but there is no design guide available for that document to match my calculations!! It would be very helpful if i get some support on that.
