Hi team,

I have two questions for TPS25810-Q1 as below. Could you advise?

#1. Is there strict requirement for input capacitance?

Input capacitance in Datasheet Figure 20 is 47uF x3.

In my application, maximum Bus current is 900mA. Is it possible to eliminate the amount of input capacitance?

#2. CC capability broadcast for STD mode in table 3 below.

How much is the maximum load current if STD is selected?

Is that 500mA for USB2.0, 900mA/1.5A for USB3.2?

Hi Tsuji-san,

For the first question, if you only use the 900mA, I think you can decrease the cap, I guess 47uF X 2 and 0.1 uF is ok.

For the second question, yes, the STD mode should mean the Standard Mode, and you can find it in the datasheet.

Hi Kuno-san,.

In my case, load current can be lower to 500mA max or 100mA max.

Could you advise if I can reduce further more capacitance?

I plan to use below cpacitor as an input.

Please advise how many caps requiresd for each case..

#1. 500mA max case

#2. 100mA max case
