Part Number: TPS650861

HI Sir

We try to initial the TPS65086100 , but we fail, could  you help to provide the source code  let me to check it?

below is our register & schematic, did they correct?

thanks

  • Hi Alex,

Thank you for reaching out via E2E. So I can best assist you can you help to further clarify what specifically is not working with the TPS65086100?

could  you help to provide the source code  let me to check it?

We provide a Linux driver for the device, which can be found under software development on the product page on TI.com linked here: TPS650861 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com. Other than the Linux driver and a GUI tool we do not have any other source code. For programming the device and using the OTP generator tool I recommend referencing our programming guide linked here: TPS65086100 Non-Volatile Memory Programming Guide.

I will work to review the schematic you provided and you can expect feedback by the middle of next week.

    Best Regards,

    Garrett

  • Hi Alex,

Please see my comments below for feedback on your schematic provided.

    • The ILIM resistor used for BUCK1, BUCK2, BUCK6 looks to be too small if you desire a current limit of 10A or greater. I recommend double checking your calculations for this. The relevant equation is found on page 29 of the TPS650861 datasheet.
    • TI recommends using a larger capacitor than currently shown at the FET input for BUCK1, BUCK2, BUCK6. We recommend 10 uF after derating.
    • The output connections (LX, FB) are not shown for for BUCK3, BUCK4, and BUCK5 so I was not able to review.
    • I do not follow your connections for VTT, LDOA1, LDOA3, SWA1. Their outputs appears to be connected to the output of BUCK6. Is this intended?
    • VTT specifically has its input and output connected to the same node. If VTT is not to be used please leave the output VTT pin floating.

All other connections look good. I await your reply in regards to the details of the issue you are seeing.

    Best Regards,

    Garrett
