I want to use the TI TPS82671 1.80 V out at 600 mA module as a 350 mA current source to supply a high power LED; can't i just add a resistor to make the device supply the needed current, or is there some way to set the module to be a current source as is ?
We don't yet have a tested way to use the TPS82671 as an efficient constant current source. You may be better off with something like the TL4242.
Thank you ! i got a sample of the CV module when i attended a recent TI Arrow Tech Day; of course, CV may not work as a CC; i will get the correct CC driver for my LEDs.
