Hi,

We are using UCC21710 for driving IGBT, We would like to know, the current drawn by the IC in two cases, 1. when there is switching and 2. there is no switching.?

The switching frequency is 10kHz.

Alos how the current drawn by the IC changes with change in frequency.?

The non switching current information is part of the electrical table as shown below,

The switching current info is shared in a plot in page 13, 14 of the data sheet, Figure 8. IVCCQ Supply Current vs. Input Frequency and Figure 11. IVDDQ Supply Current vs. Input Frequency

Hi Anirudh,

I was referring the plot on page 13 (figure 8)and 14 (figure 11) for the current measurement during switching. It will help you to find IVCCQ and IVDDQ for particular switching frequency.

As you notice IVCCQ doesnt change with switching freq, but then IVDDQ varies with frequency.
