Hello,
We are using TPS2003C power switch for our design and we are not using second channel of the power switch. Can we leave this pin floating if it is not used?
Please find the attached schematic for the same.
Thanks,
Sonali

Hi Sonali,
You can leave this pin floating as it's open-drain output.

Hello Shuai,
We can leave both the FLT2 and OUT2 pins floating, right?
Also, please review the attached schematic for TPS2003C.
Thanks,
Sonali
Hi Sonali,
Yes, you can leave these two pins FLT2 and OUT2 floating.
May I know what the USB1_PRT_CTL4 is using for? And you want to use the internal auto-retry function by connecting EN pin to FLT1 pin?
Best regards
Shuai Yuan
Hello Shuai,
The USB1_PRT_CTL4 is connected to usb hub port control pin. The function of PRT_CTL1 pin - Power Enable / Over current Sense. As an output, this signal is an active high control signal used to enable power to the downstream port. As an input, this signal indicates an over current condition from an external current monitor on USB port.
Please find the attached complete schematic for TPS2003C.
Thanks,
Sonali
Hi Sonali,
Sorry, we are on vacation now, we will reply to you when we come back.

Hi Sonali,
I'm a little confused with your description. PRT_CTL1 is not connected.
Based on my understanding, you use USB hub (USB1_PRT_CTL4) to enable the power switch, right? Also, USB hub will received the over current low voltage signal from power switch, right?
Best regards
Shuai
