Hi expert,

My customer want to use hot sparing application (Two powersupplies ON at the same time) by TPS7H2201-SP .

Is it possible? Or any advise?

Hey Tom,

Can you clarify if the two 5 V supplies are the same supply going through two load switches, or two different supplies going through two load switches?

Two different supplies going through two switches.

As schematic, 5V primay and 5V secondary go through top TPS7H2201-SP and bottem TPS7H2201-SP at same time.

Hey Tom,

We do not suggest this application.
The load switches will not prevent the supplies from sinking current from one another.

We suggest paralleling when one load switch is on and the other off, or it is the same supply.
