Hello,
I am using bq20z45 EVM board as a development platform for a 10A DC load drain.
The board is recommended for 2A with a Max current of 7A.
I have programmed the part for 6A and over-discharge-current is set at 7A.
The board works fine at 5.95A inclusive but for any current between 5.95 and 6A, discharge FET opens! And two bits in "Battery Status" are flagged (Set).
The 1st Flag is AOCD and the second is TDA. When the device is reset everything works fine.
Based on the above preview, here are some questions.
1. What is/are reasons for the above behavior?
2. Is bq20z45 sensitive to laod? Capacitive or inductive?
3. Has anyone had such experience with this device?
