TPS4H160-Q1: A version, B version

Part Number: TPS4H160-Q1

Hi Experts,

Customer want to replace TPSH4H160-Q1 A version to B version.

Can we replace the below IC schematic to B version witout any change?

As far as I understand, in the B version, the SEH&SEL pins should not be connected with pull up.

Could you please let me know how should I deal with unused 7~10 pins of B version?

The differences are pin7~10.

  • Hi Dustin,

SEL and SEH are select pins which select which channel is output on to the CS pin. If the CS pin is not used, then it is possible to leave these pulled up.

Fault is an open drain pin. This will pull to GND internally during any fault of the device. It can be left pulled up to an external rail.

CS pin cannot be pulled up. I assume that CS is not required in the customer application. We recommend connecting this pin to GND with a 1kOhm resistor or leaving it floating.

    Thanks,

    Shreyas
