TPS61033: Efficiency vs TPS61022?

Part Number: TPS61033
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61022

Hi team!

Im hoping to compare efficiency of TPS61022 and TPS61033 apples-to-apples.

The two efficiency curves below were the most comparable I found in datasheet. It looks to me that TPS61022 performs better at 3A, would you please confirm? I want to confirm these graphs below are measured with similar test setups (same inductor size, same Cout, same anything which could affect efficiency)

The marketing material in section 1 of datasheets also makes TPS61022 look more efficient.

  • Hi Cameron,

These graphs below are not measured with similar test setups.

But I think TPS61022 efficiency is actually higher than TPS61033 with large current, because TPS61022 has smaller Rds(on).
