I'm using the USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01. I have physically removed the BQ device from the eval board for my application. I have configured the eval board as Power Source and Power sink with no BQ (option 2) and preferred role as a power source. My different use cases:
1) When a external power source is connected to SYS Header J1, then i attach a Android phone to the USBC connector the phone charges power as expected (Source).
2) When i connect the phone to USBC with no external power attached to J1 the phone provides power to TP1 (Sink) as expected.
3) When i connect the phone to USBC with no external power attached to J1 the phone provides power to TP1 (Sink) as expected. Then i apply power to the J1 Sys header i would expect the TPS25750 to switch from sinking power from the phone to source'ing power to phone automatically. It does not, i have to unplug the phone (USBC) and re-plug it before the phone will start to charge (Source). Is there a command I can use over I2C or setting that will allow this automatic power role swap without physically disconnecting the phone at the USBC connector?
