Hello Team,

Can we use ESD / other protection device with Fuel gauge for Battery Pack Protection ?

If so , Pls. suggest example part / Link for same.

Hello Bhupendra,

You can use ESD protection ICs for communication lines and you can use second level protectors for battery pack protection. BQ29400PW will work with bq3050.

BQ29412DCT is already used with BQ3050 , Should we replace it with BQ29400PW ? OR we need to keep both.

It depends on what kind of features you desire. BQ29412DCT is for overvoltage protection

It Seems Both used for Overvoltage protection only. Both for Secondary Level.

There are more protections than just overvoltage. Depends on whether you intend to use the other protections.
