Part Number: TPS4H000-Q1

We are using TPS4H000AQPWPRQ1 4 channel HSS. Can you please confirm if Short to BAT on one channel's output will not affect the other channel outputs and its related diagnostic port(STB)?. Please send me the DSO snips if you have for this condition. My aim is to remove the fwd diode from each channel and to put a single diode in supply line.

    Hi Kesavan,

    For the STB of one channel to affect the other channel, the output of the channel has to be higher than the input voltage. In this case the reverse current will flow through the body diode. If any of the other channels are ON, then the other channels will see the higher voltage.

    If this is the case you want to protect, then the diode at each output will still be needed.
