TPS55340: Will this WEBench-Design work?

Hello,

I was wondering if this design really works as it is proposed by the WEBENCH Power Designer. I am concerned that it is not possible to unload the inductor completely with that switching frequency and high duty cycle and also I am wondering if the switch current is calculated correctly and still within the maximum possible ratings for this device. The Input is a 3V Source and the Output is 35V @ 0,3A.

Thank you for using E2E forums, regarding your concern I would suggest using the TPS55340 excel tool calculator that can be found in here https://www.ti.com/product/TPS55340#design-tools-simulation , WEBENCH power designer is the starting point for a design, I would even recommend using the TI power stage designer tool for additional help and confirmation https://www.ti.com/tool/POWERSTAGE-DESIGNER

Can that tool take the maximum possible duty cycle (which is also restricted by losses) into account?
