Hi ,
Just want to double confirm GPIO is set by I2C, is that correct?

Hi Jim,
GPIO is set through I2C commands, this can be done using the GUI for TPS25750 or through EC host.
CC1/2 are used for negotiating source/sink capabilities.
There are also 4CC commands that are still done through I2C, which are 4 character commmnds implemented as unique address interface commands in order to do certain tasks. For more information on these tasks, please refer to the Technical Reference Manual.

Hi Beader,
Thanks for the information.
Please see below information, I found the register is not supported by TPS25750.
My customer is using TPS25750S, can they use the register?
If not, any other way could be used for GPIO setting?
Hi Jim,
GPIO_STATUS register is just a status register that is read only to see how GPIOs are being configured. The current FW version does not support this feature. To actually set the GPIO events you will need to use IO Config (0x5C) register or use GUI to configure the events mapped to GPIO.
